What's the difference between Pro and Business?

Pro gives you unlimited search, autopilots, lists, and advanced relationship signals like calendar and funding data. Business adds what a team needs: shared team network access, unlimited exports, 500+ integrations via Zapier, CRM and ATS connectors, and team billing. API and MCP access aren't the difference, because every plan has them, including Free.

Do I need a paid plan to use the API or the MCP server?

Accepted Answer

No. API access and the Village MCP server are available on every plan, including Free. Generate a personal access token in settings and you can call the API directly, or connect Village as an MCP server in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any other MCP client and work with your network from there. Usage draws from your credit balance like any other metered action, so what you pay for is what you use, not the right to connect.

What are credits and what do they pay for?

Credits are the single currency for everything AI- or data-metered in Village: AI search, list building, project agents, email reveals, realtime profile enrichment and warm intro paths. Syncing your network, browsing it, sending intro requests, and enriching a profile we last updated within 3 months all stay unmetered. Every plan includes a monthly credit balance: 100 on Free, 4,000 on Pro, and 7,500 on Business pooled across the team, plus 1,000 for each collaborator seat. Typical costs: 1 credit to reveal an email, 5 to pull warm intro paths, around 6 for an AI search returning 10 results.

What happens if I run out of credits?

Metered actions pause until your balance refills. Nothing else about your account changes, and your network, lists and intros stay fully accessible. You can buy a credit pack instantly at any time: $25 for 1,000 credits, $50 for 2,200 (+10%), or $100 for 5,000 (+25%). You can also turn on auto top-up so a pack is purchased automatically whenever your balance drops below a threshold you set.

Do unused credits roll over?

Your monthly plan credits reset at the start of each billing cycle, so they don't roll over. Credits you've purchased in a top-up pack do carry over. A cycle reset never wipes credits you paid for.

Can I cancel or change my plan anytime?

Yes. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time from your account settings. There are no long-term contracts. If you cancel a paid plan, you'll retain access through the end of your billing period and then move to the Free plan.

Yes. Annual billing saves you up to 38% compared to monthly pricing. Pro drops from $79/mo to $49/mo and Business drops from $149/mo to $119/mo when billed annually.
